I am a 31 year old fashion photographer, working for several magazines. Together with my friend and roommate Sophie, I'm living in an apartment in Rotterdam. Since it would be financially impossible to live in such a nice place, we decided to share all costs. Consequently, it's crucial that we trust each other completely. We could have easily been sisters, because we share the same tastes and habits. Because I still like to dream a little and also because it's part of my job, I spend too much money on fashion and design magazines. I don't own a car and use my pink bike to run errands in the city. I'm crazy about a Volkswagen Beetle but I am well aware that I can't afford it for the moment, so I prefer to wait and enjoy other things. We both love good food and Rotterdam offers us a lot of possibilities to spoil ourselves. As a vegetarian, I enjoy savoring delicious salads and pasta dinners. Contrary to my friend Sophie, I'm rather exuberant, which can be easily derived from the vivid colours of my clothing and accessories. I also change my hair quite often. Whenever I have some time to spare, I love to paint to set my mind to rest after a busy day at work. My paintings also tell a lot about myself. They are abstract with lots of vivid colours. Since we had horses at home when I was a kid and I grew up with them, horseback riding is one of my other passions. During the summer, you can find me at the Rotterdamsche Manège almost every weekend. Last year, we inherited an antique cupboard, which is much older than the both of us together. But we loved it instantly and it immediately gave a specific warmth to our interior, which is mostly sleek and pure. We both love beautiful things and are made about design but we always look at its price tag. Our old couch was completely worn-out, so we had to look for a new, timeless design sofa, which would also fit our antique cupboard. We would like to enjoy our couch as often as we can, so its sitting comfort was very important. Through a photoshoot, I came into contact with the Belgian brand KOOZO and we were impressed by its collection of couches. There was no need to look any further.
